THE BEAU RICKMAN HORRORS
A supernatural series set in rural Sussex and Kent

Formerly dubbed the ‘bone worker’ by his peers, ex Detective Inspector Beaufort Rickman was often assigned cases that required more than just stoic police work, cases that were as baffling as they were brutal, many of which went left unsolved, and one which culminated in the disappearance of his eight-year-old son.

Haunted by his past, Rickman now works privately, compelled to take on cases that would otherwise be deemed ‘unnatural’ or beyond the scope of any sound explanation, cases that Rickman feels are somehow connected to his son, who he believes is still alive.

ABOUT

Roland Blake is a British writer in the Horror and Suspense genre. For as long as memory permits, Roland has immersed himself in the strange and supernatural worlds of dark film and fiction. Perhaps too long. Growing up, he read everything from The Brothers Grimm to Stephen King or could often be found shut away watching re-runs of Hammer House of Horror and The Twilight Zone. Not a lot has changed. Now Roland writes his own macabre tales - atmospheric stories that often blend disturbing, psychological horror with strong and intriguing characters.
He is the author of A Season of Horrors, a collection of four novellas of horror. Also, the soon-to-be published standalone novel, The Evils We Keep – A psychological horror with a supernatural twist and Book 1 in The Beau Rickman Horrors, a series set in rural Sussex and Kent.

A native of London, Roland has spent his life searching for spiritual nirvana amidst an often fraught and chaotic world. He is still searching. He now lives in the Shires in the South-East of England with his family where he enjoys listening to the Owls hoot at night.
